US Family reunion schedule
Friday night, August 9 – BOAT CRUISE (optional)
Location: Seattle Waterfront
4:40 pm – 5:40 pm: 1 hour boat cruise on Elliott Bay with Argosy Cruises
Costs: $39/person (senior $35/person, youth 4-12 years $22/person, kids under 3 – free) (to be paid at embarkment to cruise company, boat cruise cost included with Seattle City Pass if purchased (https://www.citypass.com/seattle)
How to get there?
- Travel with group: Bus 554 from Bellevue to Seattle Waterfront – leave for Seattle at 3:13 pm from Eastgate Park & Ride (cost $3.25/adult, $1.00/senior, under 18 – free); arrive at 4th & Pike St. at 3:41 pm
- If spending the day in Seattle: meet at Pier 55 (1101 Alaskan Way) at 4:15 pm for boat cruise
- Travel back to Bellevue: bus leaves from 2nd & Seneca St (8:17 pm, 8:39 pm, 9:42 pm, 10:50 pm, 12:02 am)
Saturday, August 10 – INTERNATIONAL FAMILY REUNION MAIN EVENT
Location: Kitchen Shelter, Lake Sammamish State Park, 2182 NW Sammamish State Park, Issaquah
9:30am – 6:00 pm – family reunion
- 9:30 am – 12:30pm – Registration
- Socialize at picnic shelter, lawn games, explore the park on your own, Cnossen-Knossen merchandise shop (all day long)
- Family hike (at 10:00 am)
- Volleyball (at 11:30 am)
- Buffet lunch (at 1:00 pm)
- Group photo (at 1:30 pm)
- Official program by international foundation board with several short presentations and videos (at 2:00 pm)
- Games and lottery (after official program)
Cost: $25/person, $10/child (5-16 years), free/children under 5 years (the State Park’s parking fee is $ 10/car, parking is near shelter)
Sunday August 11 – WORSHIP SERVICE (optional)
Location: Kelsey Creek Church, 1221 148th Ave NE, Bellevue
10:00 am – Attending the regular worship service at Kelsey Creek Church. (denomination: CRCNA)
- Participation to the service by family members
- Fellowship hall after service 11 am-2:30 pm for lunch and socializing
Cost: worship service free, lunchbox: $16/person
